Hello,

I am having trouble with ubuntu 8.04 and my graphic card and I've sent
some days ago an email asking for help but with some imprecise
information. Now I corrected them.

The chipset of my motherboard is: Intel(R) 945GC Express Chipset. And
there is also an "Intel(R) Graphic Media Accelerator 950". I took this
information from:
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2521
.

My problem is: using the driver "intel" (the package
xserver-xorg-video-intel , which supports chipsets from the family
945), my ubuntu 8.04 gives as maximum resolution 1280X800 (and I need
1280X1024, which ubuntu 7.04 could give). Please, anyone know what can
I do? Very thanks,

Leonardo
