Sorry, forgot to add; if you do wish to download the DVD, I highly
recommend that you install gwget so that you can: 1) limit the bandwidth
of the download, and 2) start/stop/resume the download at will.

sudo apt-get install gwget

You'll then find the app in: Applications|Internet|Gwget Download Manager

1. Limit the download speed to something slightly lower than your DSL
link speed so that the download doesn't consume your entire bandwidth.
Example: I have a 1.5MB download link, so I set the download limit to
100kB/sec so the download speed leaves me enough to use a normal
browser, send emails, etc., etc during the download. Otherwise, if I get
a fast sever, the download maxes at 159kB/sec and consumes the link
during the download - including for all other computers connected to my
router. You can set this in: Edit|General|Limit...

2. You can safely pause/resume the download at any time. This includes
pausing, and exiting from gwget if you are only partway through & need
to shut down your system etc. Pause, exit gwget, shut down the computer,
and when you are ready to resume, fire gwget back up, and click "Resume
all".
