Console Client? Putty's not up to scratch..

Maybe also you may need to set X to "Emulate 3 buttons" on your laptop, 
and then, when you press both buttons of your touchpad it works like the 
third button on a regular mouse. Of course, try first hitting both 
buttons, it may be already set.
