Yeah, there really should be one, if only to point to the others. I'm so
used to it (apt has none, either, you need to look up apt-get) that
looking for related binaries has become second nature.

BTW, I just realized that you said you are using xubuntu, please forgive
my pointers to Gnome locations in Ubuntu. I have no experience w/
xfce/xubuntu, though.
