Sorry, I thought the Startup-Manager settings carried over to the
GDM Login window.
There is a GDM config utility (System/Administration/Login Window)
but I don't see a resolution setting. I have not dug into it much
because I know some of the setting don't work. e.g.:
Set the clock to 24hr doesn't work.
