Compiz on Thinkpad T30 laptop

For those that have been having problems running compiz on a T30 [ATI
Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500]", this
xorg.conf solved it for me:

I had compiz running on the T30 (Hardy 8.04.1), but many applications
(text editor, Firefox etc) would display white title bars (no icons).
The above xorg.conf not only worked, but also resolved that issue so
that I can now use all the compiz bells & whistles.
