Karl, sorry but thanks for playing, no Windows! BTW, I still have my
NEC PC-8201 (the sister to the Kyotronic 85) made by the same folks.
Still works too but no Windows.

Windows NEVER ran on an 8085, I think I remember Windows 1.0 running
on the 8086/8088 (it was hideous) but that's about it. According to
Wiki (taken with a pound of salt ...):

The system requirements for Windows 1.0 constituted CGA/Hercules/EGA
(listed as "Monochrome or color monitor"), MS-DOS 3.1, 384K RAM
(512KB recommended), and 2 double-sided disk drives or a hard drive.

And yes I _have_ a lot of old computers. I've been doing this for a
while (started as a teen in high school).
