Sure there is, in Kmail just click on "Settings", "Configure Filters", click 
on "new" rename it "Killfile" or some such; set it to match any of the 
following and put "From" in the first box  and the name you wish to killfile 
in the second!  Then on the bottom where it says "Filter action" make it 
say "move into folder" and select  "trash".  There you go!  It is not hard 
and you will have silenced whomever you named from your mail forever!
