Linux printing on a windows network, where to start

Well, nearly, I also don't get color, but could easily live with that.
Quality is otherwise just fine.

I tested driver for OKIC5800 and  could print the test-page from
system-config-printer tool and also from evince. I tried other drivers too,
five semi-randomly selected ones but they didn't work at all.

No, but I only tried those two, I thought that since its the wrong driver it
wouldn't be worth fighting with..
