You want "Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition - Supported to 2011",

What do you mean with "that screen" and that yours is "Windows 98 like".
Are you referring to the black initial installation screen with the
Ubuntu logo in the video? And is yours a blue and red text screen
instead?
If so, then you used the "Alternate" installation disc instead of the
"Desktop Edition" that he uses.
