how do i give a working comand in console after "sudo su" let me be "#" under ubuntu 8.10 to copy entire folder "desktop" to another partition with the folowing:

Run, if you are listed as sudo user.

  sudo cp -r /media/disk/home/gfworm/Desktop  /media/disk-1/mutate1

Or

If you want to do it from File Browser  run the following command,

  gksudo  nautilus

I will provide you a file Browser with Administrator's  Privileges.
