I have a Dell Mini12 I just received, running Ubuntu 8.04. (It uses the
specific Dell version of ubuntu)
I have had one problem, seems to be known about of the wireless locking
up with WPA (TKIP) encryption. I changed to WPA2 and that problem is
gone.
You are right about the poulsbo chipset meaning at the moment the
graphic driver is flakey - and so (I think) this is preventing me moving
away from the Dell distribution.
With all of that said, before it arrived, I was worried that the
processor was underpowered for what I wanted it for (web development -
so it would need to run apache and postgres on the machine). This
doesn't appear to be the case - although admittedly its a little slow on
scrolling a web page with lots of graphics.
