Unable to locate trash

If the trash empty but the icon show not empty?
Then start nautilus or what ever filebrowser you use.
Select 'Show all files'
Find (in your /home/ directory)  .local/share/Trash

Then I think each partition has it's own .Trash.1000 folder.
