Desktop icons suddenly shifted to left side

I see now that that's selected, but I'm sure I didn't turn it on. I've
never had any reason to right-click on the desktop, so I would have had
to accidentally right-click on the desktop, and then accidentally select
that option, all without noticing. Not very likely.
