Sound gone with 9.04

Well, I just used alsamixer, I made sure my 958 was not muted,
increased the vols and
selected the other 958 (there were two on mine) then back to where it
was originally
and the sound started to work, I could hear music in ryhtmbox and my cd music.
It could be more complicated, there are some helpful alsa tips here.
