gmane.org is having troubles again, so I can't see my original post
yet... But I'll add that I am also getting sound from the VM (VirtualBox
2.2 w/Win2KPro guest) on the intrepid machine across the lan to this
hardy machine. That surprised me as well... it still had the infamous
Windows startup sound enabled. Next stop is to try an NX connection :-)
