Kubuntu 9.04 Woes

Hello all,

I am writing to the general Ubuntu list because I rarely get answered on the
Kubuntu-specific one...

I recently upgraded from Kubuntu 8.04 to Kubuntu 9.04 using the online
method.

Apart from the fact it took a long time, it went very well.

I am having some difficulties to figure out how to bring the system to the
state I had my KDE 3.5.10.

I really like the look and feel of KDE 4.2.2, although some windows remind
me of Microsoft Windows too much...

Here I my pending issues:

Where is KControl Center? - The 'System Settings' app is not advanced
enough. I like KControl better.

When I open Konqueror as a file manager and press the F9 key, I get the side
bar, I click the Services tab - any service I choose I get an error saying
the service is not supported.

I also used to have an 'Actions' sub-menu when right-clicking a file. One of
the options was 'Send via Bluetooth'. Now the sub-menu isn't there. How do I
get it back under Konqueror 4.2.2?

I right-click the Bluetooth icon on the system tray and choose 'Send File',
I then get a window to choose the file, then I get a window to choose the
device (my cell phone), it seems to be sending the file (I see the progress
bar) - but at the end it pops-up a message from Kbluetooth4  saying
'org.openobex:FileNotFound'...

I tried looking up all Bluetooth related packages in Synaptic. It seems to
be OK....

I have more questions, but I'll leave some for later...

I guess it's all a matter of adjusting myself to the new KDE, so bare with
me please!
