Hi,
I have a shell script (fw.sh), which on my debian system creates a
firewall using iptables fine. How can I make this script be ran on
ubuntu? I would like it to run when a network device goes up. Eg. when
eth0 or wlan0 gets a connection it should be executed.
Currently i use post-up /sbin/fw.sh
in my /etc/network/interfaces file on debian, will this work on ubuntu,
or is there a "gui" way of doing this?
Most likely this should be able to work, perhaps NetworkManager will bother you on Ubuntu :)
Regards,
martijn
