Hi there. Sorry for my complete "NOOB" incompetence, but I have a
question. I recently obtained an old 1997 Interserv server tower.
SCSI CD drive with SCSI raided HD's, but has IDE slots on the
motherboard. The big issue is that it does not boot from IDE or CD.
Must boot via floppy (not sure if it will boot via SCSI HD because I
haven't an OS yet, but I assume it does.) I have attempted DEBIAN
install but for some reason when installing via floppy (boot, root,
and cd-drivers floppies), it does not have the correct drivers for my
CD drive to run a "net-install"-CD. I have tried an IDE CD drive as
well when booting from floppies, but i have a feeling that the IDE
ports on the mobo are shot. I have I am curious to know if there is
another way or another bootable floppy that will give me the SCSI CD
drivers to boot to a CD to install the Linux OS (hopefully Ubuntu
Server). Thank you in advance.

Best Regards
~Kevin~
