Thanks Vince but,
then where are all the usual ad-ons associated with the Firefox browser
or maybe they just were not on the DVD I obtained from the Ubuntu user
magazine. Firefox was installed. Also, I was asked by the 9.04 system
if I wanted to update files and so I did do some kind an update to this
9.04 which apparently only brought some of the files up-to-date. So my
guess is if the files were not there to start with they would not be
updated. The designation of 9.04 did not change as near as I could see
so it was not an upgrade. I'll have to look at that. Also, I am still
puzzled about the ad-ons. Does anyone know for sure if 9.04 Firefox can
access the full list of add-ons becasue I had some kind of problem.
It's very difficult working on the SUN Virtual Box when you can't
enlarge the box dimensions to sufficiently see the print and the cursor
I use is VNC and the SUN VB cursor jumps all over the place so it takes
forever (literally) to position the cursor. Maybe that's my whole problem.
Thanks, the input I got was valuable -- Ted Hilts
