cups problems

I am having a problem since upgrading to 9.10 with my cups printing.  I
print one file to the printer, then try another, the printer window
comes up and says "gathering information" and keeps saying that until
the print job is finished.  In other words, I can only  print one thing
at a time.

I also cannot print from a remote machine over the internet either.  I
used to be able to.  I have the cups driver set to allowing printing
over the internet.
