    This is a human interest story. She bought the laptop because it was 
the cheapest. She should have taken Dell's offer to put Windows on it.

    She quit her over the Internet college because she could not come up 
with the proper tools on Ubuntu. But with time she discovered Open 
Office and now as I understand it she is back doing homework and all 
with Ubuntu.

    I expect it was from the school she got the help she needed.
