I can find no reference to that model, only PS121 and PS101:
<http://www.netgear.com/Products/PrintServers/WiredPrintServers.aspx>
The PS121 is a USB model, and the PS101 is an RJ-45/Ethernet model.
Are either one of these your model? Note that the PS101 version 1 and
version 2 use different chipsets, so you'll need to somehow identify
which version you have if it is a PS101:
http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/PS101.asp
If the model is actually PSA1EF92 (neither google or netgear have any
reference to this) can you please provide a link to the PS
documentation? The following are simply guesses based on the PS101. The
printer indicates probably PS121 (USB), but you'll need to clarify.
The instructions at the link you provided were much like ones I

These most likely are case sensitive. Have you tried
Host: 192.168.1.50
Queue: L1
Then 'Forward' rather than attempting to probe the PS? That way you can
go on and select the printer type 'Officejet 7300', then 'Forward', then
'Apply'. Print a test page: No.
Once the printer is established, you can then easily modify the Device
URI which now looks like: lpd://192.168.1.50/L1 to other settings if
necessary. The printer configuration will be in /etc/cups/printers.conf
- you need sudo to edit/view, so:
gksu gedit /etc/cups/printers.conf
will open the file for you in the gedit text editor. Be careful not to
make any changes there if you don't want them. If you do, gedit will
save a backup as gksu gedit /etc/cups/printers.conf~. Within the
printers.conf file, you should see a section with this in it:
DeviceURI lpd://192.168.1.50/L1
(that's capitol L not lowercase L)
I hit probe, and it hangs

That printer should be fine with the standard drivers:

Edited Notes
Multifunction device: printer/scanner/copier/fax. The integrated flatbed
scanner has an automatic document feeder and is legal-sized.
For basic printing functionality use the HPIJS driver . For advanced
functionality such as printer status, maintenance features, scanning and
photo card unload use the HPLIP driver (which includes HPIJS).
Best output quality reachable with the "hpijs" driver, especially the
1200-dpi high resolution mode gives excellent photo quality.

Also, check above: the HO Officejet 7300 driver included in Ubuntu
should cover your particular model. But it will be very helpful if you
can advise on the exact printer model and how it is connected to the PS.
When I go to the

That indicates that you are able to connect to the PS via http OK.
BTW: what is the printer name and connection type plus port name in Windows?
<snipping the rest> so you don't have to try to read/interpret too much
text.
