Can't see USB on VirtualBox [Former: USB Re: TomTom on Ubuntu]

Kind of related to this thread:

I tried to install TomTom HOME on my VirtualBox (thinkpad T61) to be 
sure it could work on EeePC and got stuck. But not with TomTom HOME. I 
attached TomTom to laptop but I wasn't abe to see it on VirtualBox. I 
was able to see it on Ubuntu (host) and browser through it's files, but 
no luck with VistualBox.

I was checking or a last 2 hours about this (very often) issue but not a 
one helped me.

Any ideas?
