good internet website filtering application

Hi,

Try fixing Dansguardian cause it is really good at filtering, it comes with a wide collections of filters.
With a default config, you won't be able to browse much is my experiance :) What do you want to block/blacklist anyway?
Perhaps you have some extra information about your Dansguardian problem?

hi all,

I am wondering, is there a good web filtering program for ubuntu which is easy to set up and manage? I used dansguardian and bfilter-gui and none of them seemed to block any of the websites i threw at it. Dansguardian wouldnt start up, even though i configured it properly, and bfilter wouldnt block anything.

are there any other ones that are any good?
