Computers translate just fine, if you recognize the strengths and 
limitations. I am not interested in translating full texts, only the 
occasional word, and for that only lists of paired words are required. 
With regard to text translation, I worked in that back in the 60's. A 
huge amount of progress has been made since then, but I would be happy 
to share some of my experiences with you, if you're interested.
