rip dvd to hard drive

Hi,

You need to be a little clearer on what you want - Do you want a full 
DVD backup or do you want to rip the films on your DVD to a video file. 
I'm guessing the later, in which case you also need to decide what 
format you want. Personally I like Handbrake, as it supports H.264, 
which for me is one of the the best quality codecs around.
