Evolution 2.26.1 does not wrap around text lines in the 'Re: <subject' window unless highlighted before

Hello,

[Evolution 2.26.1] When I click on 'Reply', a window 'Re: <Subject>'
opens which displays the text of the selected received email.
Unfortunately this window does not format the received text in the form
which will be seen by the recipient: It does not wrap around the lines
at the standardized line length. 
Is this a known error? 
But surprisingly, Evolution does wrap it around if I selected
(highlighted) the whole text before in the main window.
How to correct this?
