I agree with Ray.  Mine set up is

/ 		= 20Gb
/temp		= 10Gb
/swap		= 8Gb (2x RAM)
/Data		= remainder

I then delete the user folder (Documents, Pictures, etc.) a sym link
their equivalent from /Data.
