    No the conspiracy is caused by your obtaining Ubuntu from 
Sourceforge. That is not the proper source for Ubuntu. You need to 
delete the iso file you got from Sourceforge, and get the iso file from 
the Ubuntu web page at:

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

and get the Desktop version that is just a few bytes smaller than 700 
MBytes :-)

    Sorry you have to D/L another monster :-)
