Printing from VM

Indeed.  Did this just yesterday - I wanted to make PDFs from my XP VM.  On 
the host, I did:

# sudo aptitude install cups-pdf
Browse to http://localhost:631/parinters and voila! The printer is already 
there.
"Publish" the printer, and also on the admin page: 
http://localhost:631/admin, set "Share published printers" and "Share on 
Internet".  It asked me for _my_ username and password (probably for sudo to 
set the permissions in the config file).  Windows can then see it via 
http://hostname:631/printers/PRINTERNAME

Didn't have that issue - but I _was_ surprised that I didn't need to provide 
any.
