I read fairly well, Karl.  Re-read my reply to your first post about
this Jaunty problem and pay attention (as Tony suggested) to the
spelling of synaPtic.  It isn't synastic, it is synaPtic.  See the, "P?"

Therein lies your problem.  

Maybe the poor reading isn't /our/ problem...
