as i said before, these values are completely architecture independend,
if you run ubuntu-desktop (not matter if on AMD64, ARM or i386) or
kubuntu-desktop you should have at least 256M and 3G free space on disk,
xubuntu-desktop should be possible to run in 128M and installing
something like the LXDE desktop should work in 64M
