In my next 2 attempts to enter ubuntu I was unsuccessful in getting past a
command prompt.  By 'repairing broken packages' and 'repairing x server' I
was able to load ubuntu but the fonts in some portions were so bad I could
not read an email, for example.  So I need some assistance as I am unsure
what to do next.
