need some help guys

im a noob to  linux and i have a netbook so im planning on putting UNR on it
i have followed the wiki directions perfeclty and the usb is ready to boot
although i cant get my computer into the device boot menu,do you guys have
any advice because i have been trying to do it for weeks but no cigar!
