Well Brett, I tried not to use any of the bad words this program taught me! I
know how it is terribly frustrating to have your own machine not do what YOU
want it to. Especially when its time wasting crud that stops your machine
from automatically doing your repetitive chores you got the machine for in
the first place! IF I have to do things manually, being literally chained to
the machine, having to even enter passwords to use a password, what is the
point of even owning a computer? I am sorry they drove you away from Ubuntu
as it is really quite nice once you get rid of trash like these couple of
nasty programs. I too have been afraid to "upgrade" as that would reinstall
kwallet and I'd have to waste another couple of months listening to people
not help me get rid of it but tell me why I have to put up with invasive
annoyances like this hateful thing in order to use Ubuntu. If they answer at
all it is usually just noise about how I missed how "wonderful" it was for my
machine to be infected with this silly additional annoyance but no real help.
Why did I feel it was beneath me to enter my password a hundred times a day
so my machine could do anything at all. Afterall, am I not the machine's
personal servant? After that fails they want you to study a manual which
also doesn't tell you how to rid your machine of it, thus wasting even more
of your time. So like you did, you find your only logical choice left is to
leave the distro. Sorry state of affairs for a distro which CLAIMS to be on
the side of the people.
