GRUB ERROR 17 help!!!!

/boot/grub has nothing to do with Debian or any distribution.

You get a /boot/grub directory if you install kernel files and grub 
files on the root partition.

You get a /grub directory if you install kernel files and grub files on 
the /boot partition.
