Just a minor nitpick. I am not sure about MS improving its software. It
does focus on polishing its user interface and making it easier to use,
I give them that. But I supposed it depends on what you mean by
"improving" here.

For me, MSO 2007 would be improved if it improved in dealing with large
documents, have robust headlines and cross references, improved
templates for complex docs which have tons of equations and cross
references in them to various parts (sub documents) of the master
documents, improved backward compatibility, etc. Has this been done in
MSO 2007? I do not now, so I am asking. BTW, corresponding
_improvements_ *have* been happening in OOo versions.

But they did improve the interface though. They *have* made MSO easier
to use for Windows users. The interface is much more nifty looking then
OOo's.
