well if your time warner is the same as mine, the modem doesnt have an
internal ip, only external, something like 74.74.xxx.xxx.  your router
runs a dhcp server and hands out internal ip addresses, all computers on
your internal network would show the same external ip.  youd have to log
into your router from a browser to see the ip address of the router, try
192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2, or 192.168.0.1  im going to go out on a limb
here since you dont know the ip that you havent changed the default
password which would be admin.  theres no username.  play around with
the different pages on the router, see how many ips its set to hand out,
how many ips are already given out, etc.
