I like Amarok. That being said however, you might want to consider
which version. The new (2.x w/Ubu 9.04) has one thing that I like as a
default install - MySQL as the database.

That being said, I HATE 2.x - I have opted to install Amarok 1.4 - the
drawback with that is the base install uses sqlite. That's Ok if you
have a small collection. So - I use the wiki that walks you through
setting up MySQL as the database. As if you had not gotten the point
of why use MySQL - it will handle your large collection and will be
much much faster then the default SQLite (Of course, that is if you opt
for the later version of Amarok).
