Evolution sync to Google Calendar

Hi All

I thought I'd try a simple family calendar via Google Calendar, editing
it with Evolution.  I created a calendar in the web interface a long
time ago, so I just hooked up to that with Evolution, made a bunch of
additions, then checked the web interface and it looked great.  I
printed it off from the web.  Yesterday when I checked, Evolution was
showing none of the events anymore, but Google showed them all. Today
Evolution is showing *some* of them, but not all. They are all still
showing on line.

Anyone else using Evolution with Google calendar?  Is there some trick I
don't know about?  Will installing Gears offline access help?
