It's there (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338669). I get updates about it 
practically daily - the _problem_ is well understood, but the solution seems 
elusive.  Some people clearly find it much worse than I do - it's an 
annoyance to me, except in kate, while others say it makes KDE unusable.
