How to use WICD

    I suggest you install wicd with the synastic file manager. Then if 
you want to use a WiFi source do this. Click on the little image on the 
right side of the top border. This brings up the WICD Manager which will 
show you all the WiFi sources you are hearing.

    With the proper source click the small triangle of that source and 
you will get a panel which lets you put in the password for the source. 
Then click the place it says to use this every time, and your set up.

    Wicd uses no keyholder or other such dumb things.
