You might file a wicd bug if you think it is a problem that you are not
taken by the hand and shown _where_ to enter the passphrase (reminds me
of clippy). Anyway, here we go: Click on the tiny triangle to the left
of the network name. Below the network name enable "automatically
connect to this network". Then click on the "advanced settings" button.
Enable "use encryption" and select the encryption type. Then enter the
passphrase and click "OK". Finally click the "connect" button. BTW: I'm
not sure about the exact names because Wicd talks German to me and I
just guessed a translation.
