I am using the same version of Thunderbird and Firefox. They are all
using the Home$ of /home/karl/ with the same permissions. So there was
no problem with that. Firefox went real easy. Thunderbird had a "lock"
in the guts and I had to delete that.
This fixed several vexing problems. Firefox would not save any
bookmarks because it needed a "starter" html bookmark. Now it has all
the bookmarks from Harty which is a big help.
And on Thunderbird it solved the problem of reading the mail. Now it
works like Hardy and that is what I want.
