My first guess was that this is a homework assignment, it seems that I'm
right.

Well then... part of your homework is to do your own reasearch. Use Google
to find the RFC for the tftp protocol. It's really not that hard to find.
If we would just "give you teh codez", then you would not learn anything.
Don't forget that your tutor may also read this mailing list!

Once you have found the RFC, and when you have read it, and you have very
specific questions about it, then you can ask those questions. But I think
that a mailaing list for general Ubuntu support is not the best place to
ask. You should try on a mailing list about tftp, or a mailing list
devoted to Java development.
