Dennis, what resolution have you gotten it working with?

Try running 'xrandr -q' in a shell after you log in and see what's 
listed there.

I DO have 1280x768 listed on mine, so it's supported. However I also 
can't start X in my native resolution of 1280x800. Only after X is 
started I can run xrandr to set the proper resolution. You may be able 
to work around it in such a manner if xrandr will set the right resolution.
