Ubuntu 8.04 LTS have Black screen problem

Dear friends,
                    I am facing so many time black screen problem in ubuntu
8.04 LTS . The problem is that when every i open any software and other
application than that application and software get black screen after
running software in few minutes . I searched  on google and other way but
not getting solution . *I send you attechment file *also. when i open
firefox and other software than screen look like that attechment. and few
minutes wait or restart pc than the problem solve . But this is not a
solution . What we do now.
Plz help me .
