That happens if you send a message using an email account that's not 
subscribed, but you can still receive them to an account that IS subscribed.

Check to be sure what account you're sending from.  Some email clients (like 
KMail, which I use) make it easy to set an "identity" for each folder to use.  

If you separate your mailing lists into their own folders, you can be sure 
that new messages will always be sent using the correct identity.
