According to the poll on the forums[1], 37.81% of users had extreme 
issues. Less than 30% had flawless, with the majority having a few 
problems here and there. It looks like the article was published before 
many users had actually posted their experience.

I still believe this is too high, but it does not seem as dire as some 
have reported. Lots of issues to be worked out.

I find it interesting that the article quotes w00ly complaining about 
encryption while installing 9.04, don't know if it's a typo or misplaced 
commentary.
